The good news is that vuescan appears to work. The bad news is that preview is opening for the tiff files and readiris is not opening after vuescan finishes though both vuescan and readiris appear to have retained their settings. I haven't had time yet to see if there is a new version of either vuescan or readiris nor have I had time yet to figure out why preview is opening. Just thought I'd give people a heads up there may be a problem.
