Not sure if this will work but did you try emptying the cache?

While in Safari, do command-option-e and say yes.

I am having serious issues with Safari 3.
If I go to the pure mac site, for instance, and try to tab around, Safari appears to kind of lock up and itr's almost impossible to do anything. The same happens if I go to

Does anyone have any ideas what's happening and how to fix it?
