I've experienced similar behavior on both my mini and MBP. It seems to occur more frequently on the mini. I notice glitches mostly in Mail, Safari and Itunes. Most frequently in Safari. The one thing I've found that seems to help the most, is to command tab back and forth. This usually gets things back in focus.

I did try that, it nothing changes. It'll simply resume saying "Busy". You can get around this for the most part by using the rotor, though, but that can be a bit inconvenient if you'd like to scan the entire site.

Hi,

I encountered a somewhat similar issue when I was browsing in Safari. I was looking at the main menu on the Freelists supposedly logged in. When I got to a certain point, VoiceOver kept announcing "Busy" until I actually had to quit the application. But, before that, it stopped saying anything. I was unable to get feedback when I did command-tab, even. Nothing happened until I hit escape in Safari. It was a bit weird.

If anyone knows why this happens, let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Jess,

We have some decline in the stability of vo with this release actually when sl came out and continuing through the update but I don't see a further decline since the update. Some issues have been fixed with the update that were there with snow leopard.

Now, this message your are hearing is not a welcome message. it is telling you that your finder window has been reconfigured to accomodate some change that was made. if you are touchin the trackpad or breathing on it, this might happen.

Next, to figure out what is going on, we need to examine your computer and its settings from top to bottom. I'll leave it to you and your imagination to figure out how we accomplish this but my capabilities are limitted to vonage and my cell phone and email although I have been known to get skype up and running on occassion.

Hi, I have this weird issue where things just seem to freeze up out of nowhere. It seems to only happen when I have iTunes running. It also happened last night when I unplugged my iPhone. It wasn't happening before I upgraded. This is a fresh install after a format on a macbook pro.

When I reboot it says, Selection replaced, 0 items selected. Oddest welcome message I've ever seen.

Any thoughts?

Jess
