I can't make it to a store but I'm giving them a call now. I am glad for Apple care because it sounds like a fan or something has gone bad.

If it was just on the Windows side then I could understand the fan or something working pretty hard, but this noise keeps you up at night. My Mac was very quiet before unless I was doing video editing and even then it wasn't as loud as this is now.On Apr 21, 2008, at 11:04 AM, David Poehlman wrote:It's doing what it is supposed to do. It doesn't come from one particular area of the computer persay it just is a constant running noise. I don't know how to diagnose fan or har drive problems so I wanted some help from you guys in running whatever test you all can recommend. What do you all suggest. I can turn the PC off and turn it back on in either Windows or Mac and the noise is the same right from boot up. Other than that I don't know what else to say.
