I can't make it to a store but I'm giving them a call now. I am glad for Apple care because it sounds like a fan or something has gone bad.

take it to your nearest apple store or certified apple agent to see if the problem can be solved.

No, it can't be this sounds horrible and when I boot it up it makes a grinding noise and then it makes a loud humming for the duration of it being on. If it was just on the Windows side then I could understand the fan or something working pretty hard, but this noise keeps you up at night. My Mac was very quiet before unless I was doing video editing and even then it wasn't as loud as this is now.

Listers my wife was on Boot Camp earlier today and the computer started making a grinding noise. It doesn't come from one particular area of the computer persay it just is a constant running noise. I don't know how to diagnose fan or har drive problems so I wanted some help from you guys in running whatever test you all can recommend. What do you all suggest. I can turn the PC off and turn it back on in either Windows or Mac and the noise is the same right from boot up. Other than that I don't know what else to say. Thanks in advance
