Thanks Ignasi.

I don't mind that I can't navigate to different artists and albums.

Is the bottom of the circle pause/play and do the right and left sides of the 
circle move you by track if you are already in the tracks in Music; that 
appears to me to be what is happening, and running my finger around on the 
circle then changes the volume. The main problems I'm having now are that I 
can't seem to get to my Audible audiobooks (and then of course get back to 
music) and i'm not sure how to turn the ipod off.
