[macvoiceover] Re: OT Turning down the brightness of the screen?

I found the slider in system prefs. I put it to 25% guess I might put it all the way to zero. My keyboard doesn't have an fn key so I guess no hotkey.

On the macbooks, f1 changes the brightness of the screen, all the way down to 0. There's also a feature called screen curtain (I don't remember which keystroke it is) that will black out the screen, and that will work on any mac with voiceover, so you could look up the keystroke for that (f8 or vo-f8 or something like that) and it will darken your screen entirely.
