Hi Ricardo,

Well, apparently it's not a silly question at all! <sheepish grin>

I was just going to write back and say that I went to the VO help section, and 
chose the getting started guide and started reading chapter 11 as suggested by 
others.  The first thing I learned is how to turn on trackpad commander, and 
now all is well!  It really does feel like using my iPhone now
