I'm so sorry about all these annoying questions. When I have web set
to group navigation, and I go into a list, there might be a link in
there inside a group but the only other thing in the group is a bullet
or something like that. If it reads that it's a link without my
actually going into the group, is there a way to click on that?

to read a message with the trackpad, you need to control tap it.

Thanks. I figured out that I was still using the VO keys as I
arrowed down through the menu. This meant that when I got to
something with a submenu it got stuck.
If I am reading email messages with the trackpad only, is there a
way I can open them? Double tapping doesn't seem to do it.
I love my computer though. Goes perfect with my iPhone. I expect I
won't be getting anything for christmas after my outrageous spending
this year. *wink*

Hey, congrats on your new computer.
When you get stuck in a menu, it is almost always because you have
come upon a submenu and if you want you can VO keys-right arrow in
to that menu to take a look at what is in that submenu, but, you
can get beyond thatmenu by stop interacting. At least this is what
I have found.

Greetings everyone. It's been a while. I've been back and forth
from windows to the mac now for around three years. I've been
using the mac exclusively now for a few months. There are still
quite a few things I haven't figured out. Most of which just
takes time and rereading documents over and over as I pick up a
bit or two at a time and apply it.
Now I have upgraded to snow leopard and have a new Macbook pro.
When I first installed VO came out speaking 90 miles an hour. I
did not do a clean install as I only have an upgrade disk. My
husband did the install while I was at work and he said there was
no way to do it without it saving my current settings. I'm not
sure this is correct but for now it's what I have. The only thing
I find completely vexing is arrowing through menus. It seems that
about half way down I am getting stuck. For example, VO keys m
and arrowing down gets me completely stuck on the dock. Any
thoughts. Sorry for the rambling, I guess it's my attempt at
paving the way for a million more questions. Smiles.
Cheers,
Jess
