i've got it to work; select "all signatures" in the signatures table instead of the email account you want to set a signature for. Then, click new signature, type a name, and press enter, then press tab. In the text box, type the signature. Then, in the signatures table (the one on the left) select your email account, and in the popup menu, select your signature name. This should work fine.
