[macvoiceover] Mac presentation:Fwd: Saturday Technology Training Sessions at MLK Library, starting October 21, 1pm to 5pm

Hi All,

I'll be presenting on VoiceOver at the below session. I'm also looking to do something here on a regular basis say during one of the sessions each month. If anyone locally would like to join us in presentations, that would be great!

All are welcome!

Subject: Saturday Technology Training Sessions at MLK Library, starting October 21, 1pm to 5pm

Dear Technology Users Group and Support members,

Saturday October 21, 2006 from 1pm to 5pm will be our first weekend Technology Training Session. The format will be relatively open since this is an experimental first session. From 1 to 3pm, David Poehlman will be doing demos of assistive technologies including Macintosh and the Nokia 6620 cell phone (with a color recognition system downloaded for free from vOICe). From 3 to 5pm we will have informal discussion, individual tutoring sessions and hands on practice at the computers.

The Technology Training sessions will occur regularly on the frist and third Saturdays of each month from 1pm to 5pm, with October 21st being the first session. The following sessions will be on November 4th and 18th, and December 2nd, and 16th.

Beginners and Advanced are welcome.
