Can the sighted folks still see it if I turn it down? I want to turn it down a bit as the brightness can sometimes actually bother my eyes...any idea how to turn off back-lighting on the keyboard? Not only does that drain, it's useless for me and it warms up the keys. lol

Hey folks,

Most of you already know this, but, remember to turn the brightness down all the way with FN key-F1. You will use a lot less power.

Dear Laptop users,
Please note that to get the best use and long life from your laptop battery you should let it run down all the way at least once a month. I got four years from my ibook battery and still had one third (two hours of use) on the battery when I sold the ibook. My battery had 360 cycles, that is all they way full power and all the way drain, using the battery does not make it work for fewer years. Keeping your laptop on the power charger all the time will ruin the battery in a year's time.
