The liblouis installer for MacOS is at http://w3.wmcnet.org/braille/
liblouis/
This installer also installs my Braille contextual menu for MacOS.
Select text in cocoa applications and then choose the contextual menu
Braille and the translation of the selected text is placed on the
clipboard. It also include my public domain braille font for visual
representation of braille.
There is separate downloads for Intel and PPC so choose the right one.
