[macvoiceover] Keeping Mail From Different Accounts Separated

OK, I have two different eMail accounts, one for each place of employment. 
Each mail system has the ability for clients to connect via iMap. IMap, if 
not familiar, is a way to keep mail on the server, allowing you to access 
your mail from a remote client like macMail or outlookExpress, and since it 
resides on the server, it stays in sync no matter where you access it from.

So, I create my first account with macMail, and now I have an inbox full of 
all the mail I've stored on the server for that employer. However, macMail 
doesn't seem to keep folder hierarchies for each account separately the way 
OutlookExpress does. So, if I now go and create the account for
my second employer, I now have one inbox with  a mixture of mail from both 
my employers.

I suppose I could use smart mailboxes to search on the to field of each item 
in my inbox and thus separate things this way, but this is not optimal, 
especially since I have thousands of messages in each, and macMail does not 
seem to have the concept of only downloading headers (as does 
outlookExpress); it'll either download all message content 
(hyeaders+bodies), or no messages at all (downloading on access which can be 
slow).

Does anyone know how I can get macMail to allow me to have two distinct 
inboxes, one for each mail account?

Yes, thank you much. Like I said the menu option for create new
mailbox under the menu still makes me create a smart mailbox. I see
create new mailbox, create new smart mailbox and create new smart
folder. I know I am choosing the right option but it does work using
the button or the menu button not the menu at the top of the screen.
