There are things I would want to know before I order an iPad, even if I decide I can justify the expenditure right now (or persuade myself that I can justify it). 1. Data plan cost: wonder if this will be per AT&T's usual charges, if one must use AT&T as I imagine. This of course isn't needed for the wifi model. 2. Cost of accessories, particularly a keyboard. Wifi without 3G doesn't make much sense to me in my situation, as I'm using an aircard at home and would have to be looking for hotspots whenever I went anywhere. The only way wifi would work well for me would be if I bought a portable personal hotspot. Now if I could connect my aircard to it, that would be an option but I don't think there is a way to do it. If I realy want to try to use this for note-taking, I also suspect a keyboard is going to be wanted at least sometimes. -- Cheryl "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
