You were close, what you want to do is copy the skype application into
the applications directory that has other items in it that are
installed on your mac, that Skype volume is what the disc image has
put therewhen it mounted, you can focus on that, and eject that with
command e. Hope that helps.

open the dmg. I then vo right arrowed till I got to the browser
again and interacted. now I saw two items. Skype, main application
basicly, and a folder called applications. I selected the skype
folder. I should add that cursor tracking was on. Then, I did cmd
+c to copy. It said copied skype. I then did cmd+w to close that
finder window and get back where I was. In the side bar, I found
the applications folder. it was right under the folder with my
name. by under I mean, virticually if I were on my home folder then
vo down arrowed I saw applications. so, I selected that and then
stopped interacting with the side bar. I then interacted with the
browser. once done, I did cmd+v to paste. I kind a just sits there
and does nothing. Paste isn't dimmed in my edit menu. but, then,
after I do this, I look, and I have the software volume but it also
shows in the side bar the image volume called just skype. However,
if I go under applications where I get all 25 items that came on my
mac, Skype isn't there. I don't know what on earth I am doi8ng
wrong but I getting very frustrated. this is very fun and very
challenging, but, it's beginning to make my anxiety hit the roof and
scare me. I don't wanna fear the mac. Please will someone help
me. I'm sorry if I sound like a begger, but I honestly don't know
what I'm doing wrong. I'll be up for a while so just call me on
