[macvoiceover] I'm up and running! Just a couple questions?

I've got my new mac mini up and running. I don't want to instal windows until I know what I'm doing with Voiceover. If you don't mind. I have a few questions.
I'm wondering if there is an MSN equivalent that works well with VO. Does skype work very well? 

Is there a keyboard shortcut to send emails?
Also, I have a laptop sized keyboard so using VO keys while pressing letters on the left hand side is difficult. Is there a way to set say, the capslock key to act as VO keys. Similar to laptop commands for jaws?
