from whatt I can tell, alex wwill only be available in lepard as VO was only available for Tiger since it's integrated into the os. As you know though, there are high quality voices that you can purchase ffor Tiger at:

I've been using these akapella voices for quite a while now and find them pleasant to listen to, highly responsive and clear. The biggest drawback to the high quality offferings at this time is that they do not provide for pitch change which inhibits the ability to detect capitalization changes.

Steve Jobs almost always speaks for about an hour and 30 minutes at MAC world, however it looks like he will be speaking for 2 hours this time.
