We will most likely use Fusion--the deal is to keep the Mac running in the background, or foreground, or whatever, when I am in the other machine.

we have a Mac USB keyboard, but I guess since we're getting the iMac, it's going to have a built-in keyboard, I guess. Won't be able to use a Windows keyboard--it's not bluetooth or anything--unless there's a way to plug one into the Back of the Mac or something.

Yes, you can do this with just one install of Windows. Remember when using Windows on the Mac in Bootcamp or virtually that everything works as normal. If you use a Windows keyboard you will not see any difference. The people that I train usually have two keyboards connected either through USB or bluetooth and they just switch them out depending on the OS they are running. Because the new aluminum Mac keyboards are so thin they just sit that one on the desk and put the Windows one on the keyboard tray. Personally I use bluetooth keyboards and a pair of wireless headset so I don't have to carry a notebook around. Eat your heart out Mac Book Air.

Since we're talking about Windows on the Mac ...

Looks like we will be getting an iMac and installing Windows on it. We'll have three separate Mac accounts--will we have to have three separate installations of Windows, too? Or will we able to manage it so that we have three separate windows accounts under one version, so that when, say, I am logged in, I can switch to Windows and have JAWS run; when Eric's logged in, he can switch to Windows and it*won't* run ... and so on.

Could you copy your files (or create a backup) and send to a backup drive and then either use your system restore disk or simply delete all previous
folders--my documents, pst, etc.?
If this is what you want to do, you can find the backup tool in the start menu/accessories/system tools/backup. Or you could simply move all files that you need to one spot--c drive, my documents, etc.--and send them over
to an external drive.
I could be mistaking what you're attempting to do...if so, my
apologies.-----Original Message-----

I want to give my Windows machine to my son as it has a lot of junk

on it so he might as well save his time configuring it. How to I
eport, copy it or what ever you need to do to give it to him. I'm sure
it is in the manual but I found everything but.
