Yes, you can. Do the following: 1. Press Vo+m, to get to the Apple menu. (VO keys refer to CTRL+Option keys held together). 2. If you have Mail opened, right arrow to Mail. 3. Next, arrow down until you hear VoiceOver say, "Preferences." 4. There are a group of buttons, starting with General, etc. At the General button, press the Spacebar. 5. Tab or arrow down till you hear VoiceOver say, "Autocomplete addresses," and if the box is checked, press Vo keys plus spacebar; VoiceOver will then say, "Unchecked." The same proceedure would apply if you want to change anything in the General menu; either check or uncheck those boxes you want. HTH. If you have any questions, somebody on the list will give you a better explanation than what I have given you here. HTH. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Hello,

I am a new Mac user, just got my Mac Book last weekend.

Is there a way to disable auto complete when typing the address of an email message? Also, whenever I type an address, it is added to my address book.
Can I disable that feature?
