[macvoiceover] Re: Drivers and Firmwear

Apple makes updating very easy.
There's a program called software update.
When you run software update, apple will automatically download and install any fixes that have been posted to the update server since the last time you ran software update.
This includes any firmware updates necessary.
So, what it boils down to, is don't worry about it, apple takes care of it.

I have not gotten Leopard yet, but I have been listening to the list- posting regarding installation. Based on what I heard I still haven't decided. My question is did anyone update their drivers and system firmwear prior to installing Leopard. Is this essential or even needed when talking about a Mac? I also want to know about how to do this myself? How do I locate my drivers to compare them to their respected download and where do I go to find drivers and firmwear in one place for my specific machine? Thanks
