Ok. For instance. Chris was asking about external multi touch track pads. You replied that they don't support voiceover because of a lack of drivers. Now That being said, why should I assume that the macbook would come with these drivers? Not better to ask someone who has used a macbook? I know it just sounds logical to do so but what seems to make sense to me not might be so obvious for others. Like the ability to cut and paste files and folders. It makes all the sense in the world for this function to be found on a Mac but yet it doesn't exist . at least to my knowledge.

actually, it says that voiceover supports the multitouch trackpad and that the macbook has a multitouch trackpad. I don't assume, I know.

Well,

Its just good to get confirmation on such things. You know what they say about people who assume. It doesn't say anywhere on the Mac site that the macbook supports track pad commander it just says it has a multi touch track pad. I don't take leaps of assumptions although logical when such large sums of money are involved. .

why wouldn't it be true? if the specs say "multitouch" then........?

Hello all,

I read on the apple site that the new plastic macbooks have a multi gesture track pad. If this is true, then can one use the track pad commander on this machine I was just under the impression that you can only use this feature on the macbook pros.?
