Subject: [macvoiceover] DTBmaker version 2.0
Folks;
I am about to release DTBmaker version 2.0. This is a complete rewrite of
DTBmaker for Macintosh computers and I am looking for people to take a
quick look over of the program before I release it. Here is what's new:
A new simplified user interface that is 100% Cocoa and VoiceOver
compatible including VoiceOver help for each control.
One program that is able to make all three kinds of Daisy books (2.02,
2002, 2005)
Voice prompts telling you what is being recorded.
This version of DTBmaker requires a Cepstral voice, these are still the
best for making books as they support the SSML markup code and at this
point Apples Speech manager does not. I will work on making this program
work with speech manager in the future.
Anyway if someone want to give this program a test drive, even if it is
just to look over the interface please contact me.
DTBmaker is an open source program for the production of Daisy digital
talking books from either text files or from pre-recorded content.
