I have released version 1.5 of DTB2iTunes it include the following
enhancements
1. Support for book produced by the DAISY Pipeline.
2. Support for Apple chapter tool if the chaptertool.xml file exists.
DTBmaker will produce a chaptertool.xml file when producing a book.
3. Better support for DAISY/NISO 2005 books
DTB2iTunes is a free open source Macintosh application that will
covert some DAISY digital talking books to iTunes MP3 or Audiobook
format. For DTB2iTunes to work the following must be the case:
* The book must be recorded in MP3 audio format.
* The book must have it's audio files named in play order
* The book must not use encrypted audio.
DAISY books produced by DTBmaker and DAISY Pipeline can be converted
with this tool. I believe that books from Vision Australia, CNIB,
RNIB, and many European national libraries for the blind can use this
tool. Books from Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic and the U.S.
National Library Service are encrypted and can not be converted.
