[macvoiceover] Re: Copy and paist from a website, some answers.

Cheryl,

You are correct, it is control-option-shift.

Thanks for catching that.

I will correct the message and send it again.

Some Comments on Keith's explanation:

For some of us, the mouse does NOT follow even if you have the check box checked.

You can use vokeys-space to higlight navigation in vo utility; it doesn't have to be the spacebar by itself. You are selecting/ hilighting the navigation tab either way.

If you have mousekeys enabled, you should be able to tripple-click just with the 5 key on the keypad. For some doing this quickly may be easier than dealing with key combinations.

Btw, you say to use cmd-option-shift and do the spacebar three times quickly. Please confirm that this is correct; usually when dealing with the mouse via vokeys one uses ctrl-option-shift rather than cmd-option-shift.

It isn't just a matter of this technique and/or Greg's automator app being easier than hilighting text with shift and the arrow keys; as far as I can tell, trying to hilight with shift and the arrow keys simply does not work when in a web browser, at least not when using vo.

Thanks for the app, Greg; it worked the one time I;ve tried it so far. I imagine what you get is going to depend a great deal on the particular web page from which you are trying to copy.
