Greg,
If we could find a better way of selecting the text, this would be
fine, but the way you need to select the text is a pain and it does
not always work. But I think you are on to something.

Folk;
I am working with another developer on a program that should solve
this problem. Here is what we have. A program that will have a menu
setting that will watch the clipboard. As you copy to the clipboard
it will append to a text file all the text copied in the order that
it was copied. It will also keep track and tell you in the text
file in which program the copy occurred in and the time it was
done, you can customize this or turn it off.
So if you wanted to collect a bunch of clippings from a web page
you would turn the watching on in this program then read through
your page selecting and copying text as you go. Then open the text
file and all the text would be there in the order that you made the
copies in.
How does that sound?

Yes, in fact I think it's best to do all the clicks with the mouse
