[macvoiceover] Can't delete some emails

Hi all.
Has anybody ever had this problem? There are eleven emails in my inbox
that I can't delete. New ones that come in will delete but these don't.
I've tried selecting all of them and deleting but all that does is
unselect them. I tried closing mail and re-opening it, tried rebooting.
any other ideas?
