Well, Lary, if you are one who doesn't like to use your phone in a dock
or to otherwise connect external speakers, then I think you will find
the IPad a big improvement for non-earphone audio listening. True, the
speaker is mono. But audio books and radio are a whole lot more
pleasant to listen to on the Pad than they are on the IPod. I don't
have an IPhone, so can't comment on that, but I have to believe the Pad
will still sound a lot better. And the better audio really improves the
experience of reading IBooks with the Samantha voice as well, at least
in my view.
