Hi. I spent a couple hours on the phone today with software support
folks at Apple Care regarding Garage Band, Logic, etc. and VO. I
talked to a guy who actually went and discussed with engineers/
programmers and happened to be pretty savvy himself. At any rate, to
make a long story even longer, there is an "Apple Consultant" who is
going to come to my house next week and help me configure Logic to be
completely accessible. They insisted it could be done, and although I
am skeptical, I'm looking forward to the adventure. They've also
agreed to give me a full refund for the program if we cannot make it
work. (On a side note, I have to pay for the consultant to come
configure everything, but we'lll see.) They did say that because
Garage Band is more for the average consumer, it isn't possible at
this time to drop and drag loops from the browser into a track without
the mouse. If anyone has discovered otherwise, feel free to comment.
As far as editing a specific track in garage band, it seems somewhat
doable, but I haven't had a need to edit down to a finite second yet.
HOpe this helps.
