I put food on it but it depends o where the table is for instance, I  
interact with an open message because it is the best way to read it  
without the pain.  If I can use the table without interacting such as  
the message list, I use arrows and enter.

I didn't say I avoid it, I said I rarely interact.  I tab and arrow a
lot and where forced to I interact.  lots of stuff is so familiar to
me though that it does not require interacting.

yes, because I rarely interact which is what the numpad command is
best at.
