if the modem has wireless capabilities I would think so but most modems do not have wireless facilities at all here which is why you need a router

Listers,

Can a Airport Express connect directly into a modem (not a router) and provide internet connection wirelessly or does it have to connect through a router?

Thanks in advance,>
