[macvoiceover] Adobe ePub books on my Mac?

Ok, I've converted books int ePub format and transferred them to my iPhone,
but I just checked out an ePub copy of a library book to try on my Macbook.
So now that I've checked it out, is there a way to read it with VoiceOver?
Heaven forbid I check first before going ahead with something.
