Good evening to all. I would like to encourage all of those who are
either using adium or interested in using it to submit a ticket on
there website regarding the need to correct the problem of incoming
messages being displayed in a scroll area that can't be interacted
with hens making the messages unreadable. I submitted feedback as
well as a feature request and received two very prompt and timely
replies. The
first came immediately after I submitted the feedback asking want
version I was using and then stating that one of there biggest
features was displaying messages in the html view. after providing
them with my version number I received another reply this evening from
a fellow named peter stating that they had been implementing fixes for
voiceover however it's possible they missed that one. I was asked to
submit a ticket on this which I did. From there response I believe
they are sincerely interested in making this application accessible to
voiceover. So, all you folks who want a good multi-messaging client
try this software and kindly let them know what they need to work on.
This will show that there is interest in adium. We need to support
and communicate with developers like this who are interested in making
things work. Sincerely:
John W. Hess
