Hi,
I will advice you to take a look at Automator. You can do a lot in
iTunes by creating some simple Automator workflows, or use workflows
I can share with you. Automator is not fully VO compatible yet, but I
am able to create workflows when I add the actions in the correct
order at the time of programming. I have created a workflow that add
radio streams to my personal radio playlist, just as you would like to.
Here is how... If you have got the actual workflow ready, you can
jump directly to step 5 below:
1) Open Automator with a new document.
2) Tab to the outline and arrow to "iTunes".
3) Tab once to the table of actions and arrow to "Get selected
songs", make sure the mouse is there, too.....and double click with
control-option-shift-spacebar so that you hear the message "No rows
selected". Next, arrow to "Add songs to playlist", make sure your
mouse is located there, too. Double click with control-option-shift-
spacebar, and you will hear the message "No rows selected".
4) Stop interacting with the table with control-option-shift-up arrow
and navigate below two splitters, until you find the scroll area.
5) Interact with the scroll area. The scroll area is all the actions
you have added, in this case the first one is just some buttons that
you do not have to care about, just navigate to the items to select
your personal radio playlist, or any other playlist, and save your
workflow.
6) In iTunes go to the radio stream you would like to add, simply by
selecting the default radio playlist in iTunes, tab to the songs
list, open a folder and arrow to the playlist you want.
7) Go directly to Automator and press command-R or press the Run
button. You will hear a sound, and if you in iTunes check your
playlist, the streams are added!
Hope this helps.... ;-)
Take care,
John André
