Hi Folks,
To keep this to a single message, I have three questions I'm
hoping can be answered.
1. In playing with various word processor apps, I have not been able
to find an easy way to determine the exact location on a page of an
open document. Some will give you page number and, perhaps, line
number, but is there a way via an apple script or the like to get the
actual page, line and column number you are on in a document? For
example, in MS Word using Window-Eyes, you can read the status line
with control insert and s to gain this information.
2. Is there an easy way in either OS X or with an accessible third
party app to assign key combinations to, for example, items from your
apple script menu?
3. Is there a way to make a shortcut to a commonly used website on
the desktop or to be placed in the dock? I know how to place one on
the desktop in Windows, but I can't find a way of doing this so far on
my Mac.
Many thanks in advance
