[mac4theblind] Re: emptying the trash securly?

I'd end it and start it over.  if it happens again, do the following:
if you have a root password, open terminal and type:
login root, press enter and type the password.  if you don't have a root 
password, I'll have to dig up or someone will supply the steps for creating one.
after logging into root, type:
cd /users/<your name>
followed by the enter key.
type:
rm - r .trash
and press enter.  this will clear your trash.

I can give more attention to this matter tomorrow.
