[mac4theblind] a trace route command in the terminal

Hello to all. I'm trying to do a trace route to a certain website to collect
info for the web master. I tried
traceroute http://listen.ultrastreams.us with no joy. It says unknown host and
even google fails. Is the command wrong and if so what's the correct one? I
used to be able to do this under snl.
