Springboard?

I don't know about the update but I can say that since IOS 5, I have noticed
lots of freezing and crashing of the spring board. I used to think it was
because of the jailbreak back when I used my iPhone 3gs, but my mom had the
same problems, actually probably they are worse, on her iPhone 4 and when I got
my iPhone 4s, I had lots of crash issues just like on my Jailbroken iPhone,
though I was using the factory configuration.

I jailbroke my 4s and it works just like the day we bought it, crashy and unstable,
with the exception that now it has much more functionality. I'm waiting for a JB
version of the new i os before I update. Honestly … what's the rush. lol

No issues here. I'm loving the update. it is snappy and works very very well.
do you have an iphone 4 or 3gs as that could make a big difference in the way
ios runs.

Keep in mind that your milage might vary so, I don't want anyone, as I know
some of you would normally do this, to write me and say, you're just being
impatient, you're just calling Apple down, you're just being a jerk, etc. I'm
not hear to flame. OK? Get that in your head now! I'm telling you what I'm
experiencing. I'm sorry to be rude, but it seems every time I have a probglem,
I either on or off list get bashed for sharing my findings, so I have to cover
my butt first, as this is pretty bad.

1. Every one of my e-mail accounts, some pop3, some IMap, and one exchange
that doesn't require a VPN to work all now are completely broken, and when I
try to manuaolly reconfigure them, or even delete them entirely and reset them
up, they still say the server is unavailable, which I darn well know isn't
true, as I'm very successfully checking mail from all accounts on my macbook,
and all my PC.

2. The problem with the loud speaker definitely was not addressed, at least
not for me.

3. Since updating, my IPhone has frozen at least 5 or 6 times forcing me to
have to not just reset the springboard, but to literally have to hit the
sleep+Home keys and hold to soft reset.

4. Voiceover seems to be more sluggish than before. It's suddle, but it's
definitely noticeable.

4. Upon calling myself, I'm finding that my phone only rings maybe 50% of the
time. Otherwise it's silent. If I engage the mute switch and put it in
vibrate, I don't seem to have the problem.

5. Once updated, I found that my ITunes match was disabled, and I had to
re-enable it.

6. Upon updating, I also found that it signed me out of my ITunes store
account and made me have to sign back in. I got the message the server was
unavailable about 3 times, then finally it decided to work.

7. Finally, all of my wifi networks seem to still be saved, however, it for
some reason didn't connect to my home wi-fi automatically, and went to 3G, thus
making me have to manually reconnect. It's undoubtedly remembering the
network, as it didn't make me retype in my security key, but that's still
strange that it didn't connect to start with.

Needless to say, I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far on my end. Hopefully no
one else is having all these issues.

Chris.
