Nook, and Kendle apps are not voiceover accessible. Sorry. Voiceover doesn't read any of the page elements of those apps. Having said that though, IBooks for reading books from purchased through ITunes read perfectly.

Talked to a nice gentleman at Apple and decided in for a penny, in for a
pound.  If I'm struggling to learn the Lion, might as well learn the new I
pad too. I like the idea of being able to dictate but am looking forward to books which he says will read not only Apple store books but Nook and Kindle
too.

He said a new VO feature is speed change for the voice and, as I ordered a
plug-in keyboard for my Lion, I already have a small, blue tooth, keyboard
I'll be able to use for the I Pad.

NOW I'M GETTING EXCITED!
