Hole down command r at start up for about 30 seconds, then launch voiceover.
After that go in to the table and choose restore from time machine backup,
choose the back up and read the warning that comes with it. It will erase *all*
of your drive.

There seems to be no “restore option”.
I read the apple support three times, to no avail..
I tried to use bootcamp assistant, and apparently this anachronism of a
macbook pro (2011 vintage) doesn’t like it.
I now have a partitioned hard drive I can’t seem to restore to its original
status.
