It is the power button that, when pressed 3 times, toggles voiceover off and on.

Oh, let me clarify. I wasn't as specific admittedly as I should a been.

For one thing, there is no universal access setting. It's settings, then
general, accessibility, then voiceover, and you toggle it on/off. No universal
access. Having said this though, he lies the problem. It's not that
voiceover's not on, I have vo talking and working. My thing is, what I was
trying to say was if I tripple click the menu button on the remote to toggle it
on/off, that never works for me.

if you have someone sighted around, see if they can go into settings, universal
access and turn vo on.

Nope, just tried again just to be sure I was not doing something stupid, and
I'm definitely nhot. I trippled clicked the menu key on the remote. All I
hear are the little bell bloof sounds 3 times and it saying in main menu, top
movies.

I don't get it. Yeah, the firmware's totally up to date, so, yeah, I'm
baffled. This really is somewhat bizarre, or am I missing something here.

By tripple clicking, I basically am saying Im doing like you would on an IPod
or IPhone with the home key.

Chris.

Hi there,
That sounds absolutely fabulous. May I ask you how the unit is activated so
the blind can use it? Is there a key combination that is used to get the unit
to talk?
