There is starting to be serious attention to the competition between
ARM and x86_64 in high-performance computing on just this metric!
Right now you'll have to pretend to be a qualified prospect to get
hard data from the vendors, but the trade press and consultants like
Gartner are digging. Yes, it's off-topic but the data *can* be had if
you know the right people. ;-)
