pharmas control politicians of both parties.
Again, Brazil comes up as an example for the way
they treated their AIDS medicines. They told the
pharm company "we will pay x for your drugs or we
will make them ourselves and you will get
nothing." Big uproar but the pharmas caved, and
Brazil distributes the medicines free to all who
need them.
