A thousand people are dead in India from a national record monsoon (37  
inches of rain in a day); a thriving city (Mumbai) is effectively shut down, 
and  
there's no mention of it on the nightly national news?
 
CNN and BBC on-line do tell.....
 
I came across a what I thought was a very moving piece, an account by a  
woman swept up in the flooding.
