[lit-ideas] Re: last honest reporter missing

Veronica: The premise of this article was rejected by Alan Greenspan.

He did? Alan Greenspan rejected the notion that *reporters* are not covering the poor financial decisions Obama and other Democrats made in accepting contributions from, and continuing support of, an unremediated Mae and Mac?

I read a New Yorker summary of his "confession of error," but saw no mention of Greenspan admitting media bias in not covering Obama's involvement with Mae and Mac.

Again, the central point, Veronica: real integrity consists of being willing to see things one would rather not see. In this case, the author is addressing reporters, and by extension, those who promote a "see no evil" ethos with respect to Obama's judgment.

All the best,
Eric
