Everyone is right. This was indeed Eric. Can't quite remember where I got it. Was it sent to the list at some time? Or did I get it off a web page? Perhaps I dreamt it? Eric will have to tell us which parts are true. I keep an electronic commonplace book called 'found poetry' and I came across this charming bit from years ago while browsing in it recently.
