[lit-ideas] Re: constittional rights

Not sure it's terrible at all.

I find myself an adamantly consistent supporter of social euthanasia.
Not capital punishment mind you, but a removal of those individuals not
conducive to, shall we say, reasonable discord.

I don't give a damn about what you think I should or shouldn't do; just
leave the hell alone, and I'll agree to the same. But, at the bar or
over a bowl, let us chop each others' sacred cows into offal and share a
congenial stew.

Simply scream at me and call me a fool, and I'll slap you heartily on the
back and call you Friend if you resist the infliction of your (purported)
ethos. But the gods and you be damned if you resort to the cowardly
antics of guns, censorship, or bawling to the powers that (may but should
not) be. Let us make do with what we can fashion ourselves.

Burn the (thoughtless) engineers, not the witches. We cannot ever expect
the group to employ that which they do not fully understand with sincere
selflessness, and that includes the engineers, who never grasp the
sociological impact of their findings.

still, finding splintered metre sticks just as deadly,

So comforting to know that crazy people have the right to own AK-47's

It seems terrible but at the same time, so poetically just. Mike
