Let's remember that alcoholism is a disease, so clinically diagnosed that
treatment is paid for by health insurance.

Andyrene: mocking alcoholics is so low....John Berryman,
Edgar Allan Poe, Truman Capote, Jack London, Ernest
Hemingway, William Faulkner....Okay, Eric, what say, let's
mock all those people.

You forgot Elizabeth Bishop, whose poem ("One Art") I was
parodying. Poor lesbian Liz with her hourly scotch on the
rocks and her dead lover in Brazil. She was one of the best
American poets of the twentieth century.

Instead of playing The Spirit That Denies, Andyrene should
submit some of her own poetry.
