Tammet's book was BBC radio 4 Book of The Week last week and they manage spell 
his two ways within seven words.  He said that he wanted to calculate Pi to so 
many places because he found each number beautiful.

but it's being replaced daily by this weeks book Kenneth Tynen's Theatre 
Writing (also worth hearing).
