Look it up? I MADE it up. Well, not really... William Safire has a piece on it every now and then.

Plugging 'misheard lyrics' into an Internet search engine reveals a plethora of sights. The first that came up on my attempt

purports to be 'The Archive of Misheard Lyrics' and uses the phrase 'mishearance'.
Many of the offerings there appear to my skeptical eyes as inventions by submitters attempting to be funny rather than genuine 'mishearings'.
