Norman Mailer no doubt marched on Washington for "the experience," which he then smushed into a tempest in a teapot that he titled Armies of the Night. I heard him interviewed on his latest book and he was so bad I had to turn it off. He is so overrated in my opinion. He can't write and doesn't have a brain in his head except for self promotion. I can imagine he fancies himself a radical, but then he fancies himself a writer too. -----Original Message----- >From: Robert Paul <rpaul@xxxxxxxx> >Sent: Mar 30, 2007 10:23 PM >To: lit-ideas@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [lit-ideas] Re: Thought of the Day > >> On the other hand, how many middle aged people marched on >> Washington during the Vietnam war?
